🌍 Mission & Purpose
FREEDESIGNTHINKING.COM is a radically open-source video education platform that brings the powerful tools of Design Thinking to the people it was never intended to reach—and gives it back to the minds who can do the most with it.
Design Thinking was created behind Stanford’s white walls and venture-backed pitch decks. Now? We’re reclaiming it.
We turn one of the most gatekept frameworks in engineering and design into a Black-led, pro-African, youth-friendly, community-based learning movement—free, fun, and open forever.
This is design education for the real world, taught by people who live it, not lecture it.
🎯 Target Demographic
- Primary:
Black youth (13–30), creative learners, self-taught designers, social impact builders, tech beginners, aspiring engineers, artists, students from underfunded schools - Secondary:
Educators, community groups, DEI trainers, startup founders, nonprofits, and changemakers across the African diaspora
